Counterfeit $100 Bills, a Drunken Prowler and an 'I'll Kill You' Threat

A roundup of Central Marin Police activities on Labor Day also included an arrest for public drunkenness.

September 2
1:51 a.m. – A resident of Granada Dr. reported that her husband was holding down "an intruder" in their backyard. The intruder, a 24-year-old white man from San Rafael, was not resisting and appeared to be heavily intoxicated, according to the report. Police went to the home and arrested the man on suspicion of disorderly conduct and a probation violation.

9:06 p.m. – Police received a report from an employee of the Rite Aid at Town Center Corte Madera that a woman tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. When the store declined to accept the counterfeit money, the woman left the store. Police went to the store but were unable to locate the woman.
Forty-two minutes later, a different person successfully used a counterfeit $100 bill at the Sport Authority Elite store in Town Center Corte Madera. Police were unable to find that suspect.

9:25 p.m. – Police received a report from a resident of Golden Hinds Passage that he heard a man at a nearby house says, "I will kill you" to someone else. Police went to the home, found three people and determined that they had been involved involved in an argument over groceries. During the argument, one of them had made a "non-credible threat." Police arrested a 64-year-old Napa resident at the home on a $20,000 warrant out of Sonoma County for drug possession.
