Update: Crash Slows Traffic on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge

The Sunday night accident affected eastbound traffic.

All lanes have reopened on the Richmond San Rafael Bridge this evening after an accident, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 was reported at 9:19 p.m. just west of the middle of the span, the CHP said. It blocked the left lane for slightly less than an hour.

 Motorists were advised to expect delays.
