Errant Driver Lands In Jail

Santa Rosa man arrested after driving the wrong way on SB 101 and then making a U-Turn in the middle of the highway near Paradise Drive in Corte Madera.

Uriel Andrade of Santa Rosa seemed lost Monday morning, so he tried to make a U-Turn — in the middle of Southbound Highway 101.

A Sausalito Police Department patrol observed Andrade's white sedan traveling north on SB 101 around 2 a.m. Monday. Andrade appeared to be weaving on the roadway, and so were all the drivers trying to get out of his way.

At some point, Andrade realized he was heading the wrong way and tried to make a U-Turn on the highway. Sausalito PD pulled him over as the California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene near Paradise Drive.
