Twin Cities police are looking for suspects in a holdup at Bank of America

Twin Cities police officers are investigating Friday morning's holdup of Bank of America in the Bon Air Center.

The robbery occurred at about 11:50 a.m. A man approached a teller and demanded money. The teller complied, as per company instructions, and the robber walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash. There was no report of weapons.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned African American, 30-35 years old, medium build with no facial hair.

Customers were surprised as they tried to get into the bank on their lunch hour but found the doors locked. Once they heard the news, they left frustrated, alarmed and scared.

This branch was also robbed in September, but that was a much different incident, according to Twin Cities Det. David Woo, who also investigated that case. There were three armed suspects involved in that robbery.
