Larkspur Cyclist Involved In Early-Morning Accident
Bicyclist is sent to the hospital after colliding with a car in a San Anselmo intersection.
A Larkspur man was taken to Marin General Hospital after his bicycle collided with a car in San Anselmo on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. at San Anselmo and Mariposa avenues.
Police said it appears the car, a green Acura, entered the intersection unsafely, which caused the bicyclist, a 37-year-old Larkspur man, to hit the vehicle as he rode south on San Anselmo Avenue.

The bicyclist was taken to Marin General Hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the Acura, a 61-year-old woman from San Rafael, was uninjured.

The collision remains under investigation, police said.
