Memorial Service For Phil Green To Be Held This Saturday
A memorial service for Green, the former police chief for Larkspur and Corte Madera, will be held at Redwood High from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
A memorial service for Phil Green, the former police chief for Larkspur and Corte Madera, is planned for Saturday, Feb. 23.
Green, who was a Novato resident, will be remembered at the service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the gymnasium of Redwood High School at 395 Doherty Drive.
Green died in his sleep last weekend during a trip to visit family in Southern California. He was 72.

He served as chief of the former Twin Cities Police Authority from its formation in 1980 until his retirement in 2010. He was one of the few Marin police officers to be shot in the line of duty.
