More Than 1,000 Without Power in Ross Valley

PG&E is on the scene of a possible blown transformer on Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

A possible blown transformer has caused a power outage in to parts of San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield and Larkspur, according to PG&E and Ross Valley Fire Department officials.

A transformer may have blown near 61 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross. PG&E is on the scene and is evaluating the power line, according to a PG&E spokesperson.

According to the PG&E outage map, 1,147 customers are without power. The outage started at 11:29 a.m., according to PG&E. An estimated time of restoration is not available.

On our Facebook page, some residents reported power briefly going off in Fairfax around 11:30 a.m.
