Prius Stolen from Corte Madera Town Center Lot

A resident told police that she did some grocery and toy shopping Saturday afternoon, only to return to find her car stolen.





A resident reported that her 2012 green Toyota Prius was stolen from the Corte Madera Town Center parking lot while she was shopping Saturday afternoon, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.

The incident was reported at 3:34 p.m. Saturday when the woman returned to her Prius after shopping at Safeway and A Child's Delight, CMPA officials said. Police checked the lot to make sure the woman hadn't forgotten where shed parked but were unable to locate the Prius.

The woman told police that she'd been shopping since 2 p.m., and that she'd accounted for all of her car keys.

Police entered the car into the Stolen Vehicle System and sent out al all-county bulletin to be on the lookout for the stolen car.
