Sheriff's Office Releases Photos In Kentfield Liquor Store Robbery

Deputies are asking for the public's help in locating three suspects who put bottles of alcohol down their pants in a Sept. 10 shoplifting incident at Colonial Liquors.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office has released photos of the three suspects in a Sept. 10 robbery of Colonial Liquors in Kentfield.

The store clerk told deputies that on Sept. 10 at about 12:45 p.m., three men entered the store and one tried to buy a bottle of Remy Martin, but his debit card was declined, accoridng to Sheriff's Lt. Barry Heying. As the store clerk was in the midst of the transaction with one of them men, the other two men allegedly put three bottles of alcohol down their pants: Patron, Belvedere and Remy Martin.

The suspects are described as African-American, all between 20-25 years old. The first suspect is believed to be 6 feet tall, 175 pounds, with short black hair and wearing a black tanktop with lettering "Shoutout to my haters" and black pants. The second suspect is 5-1, 260 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. The third suspect is 5-10, 320 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering and black pants.

The clerk suspected something was wrong when the men left suddenly without buying anything. He then checked the surveillance video and discovered the theft. No vehicle was described.

The total loss is $242.97 worth of merchandise. Colonial Liquors is located at 913 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
