Suspects busted with forged prescriptions for Vicodin and Codeine.

Two suspects were arrested after a series of visits to the pharmacy to pick up Vicodin and cough syrup with Codeine with false prescriptions. Twin Cities Police arrested two people and cited two others Wednesday at CVS Pharmacy in the Bon Air Shopping Center on charges of having a forged prescription, burglary and conspiracy. The suspects had tried to obtain the drugs on at least two occasion last week before they were arrested while trying again Wednesday.

The owner of a Magnolia Avenue business reported her office was broken into Wednesday. Taken were a computer, stereo and brownies. 

Officers responded to Redwood High School for two students being detained for possession of Marijuana on school grounds. One student, an 18 year old San Rafael male, was arrested and released to school staff on a citation. The other student a 17 year old male, was referred back to be handled by school.

Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary alarm at a residence in the 600 block of Corte Madera Ave. On arrival, they found pry marks on a side door and found the rear door had been kicked in. The resident determined a folder containing miscellaneous papers and passports had been taken as well as jewelry in a jewelry box.

A resident in the 700 block of South Eliseo Drive reported the theft of their front license plate. The license plate was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System.

A house sitter in 10 block of Scott Pl. advised that the residence she is watching had been broken into. It appears that only jewelry was taken at this time. A residential Burglary report was taken and there is further investigation pending the return of the residents.

A resident in the 60 block of Via Navarro reported a suspicious vehicle parked across from his residence with persons inside possibly smoking Marijuana. Contact was made with a Larkspur resident and a San Anselmo resident inside the vehicle. A small amount of Marijuana was located and seized for destruction. The subjects were reprimanded and released at the scene.

After a traffic stop in the area of Nellen Avenue and Wornum Drive, a Mill Valley woman was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and booked at the Marin County Jail. Her vehicle was parked and locked at the scene.

Via 911, a Corte Madera resident reported that while she was driving on E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in the area of the Golden Gate Ferry Terminal, her vehicle was struck by another vehicle which the fled the scene without providing any information. The other vehicle was located and stopped by CHP in the area of the west gate of San Quentin State Prison. A Hayward man was arrested for being an Unlicensed Driver and released on a citation at the scene. 

A business in the Village Shopping Center reported they had an employee detained for embezzlement. A Lafayette man was arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail for Burglary and Embezzlement. The loss is $179.

A Larkspur resident, after being located in the area of Rich Street and Industrial Way, was arrested on an outstanding Parole Hold Warrant. He was booked into the Marin County Jail.

A Security Officer reported that he had just located two persons inside a building in the 300 block of Drakes Landing Road and that one of the subjects had run off, but he had the other detained. An Alameda woman was arrested for Trespass and released on a citation at the scene.

 A business in the Village Shopping Center reported that three female subjects had come into the store and then run out with 32 pairs of jeans. They got into a waiting gold Lexus sedan and left the area. Total loss is $9,000. A Grand Theft report was taken and there is further investigation pending.

 Via 911, a Corte Madera resident reported that she had heard a crash behind her residence, in the area of Paradise Drive and Westward Drive. Units located a vehicle that had run into a parked vehicle in that area. The driver, a Corte Madera man, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and booked at the Marin County Jail after being medically cleared at the Marin General Hospital Emergency Room.

Officers responded to the area of 2 Bon Air Drive for a report of a woman who had fallen off of her bicycle and possibly broken a bone. A Kentfield woman was treated by the Larkspur Fire Department at the scene and then transported to the Marin General Hospital Emergency Room. A Minor-Injury Accident report was taken.

After being located in the area of the 80 block of Spindrift Passage, a Corte Madera man was arrested on an outstanding Marin County Warrant. He was booked at the Marin County Jail.

A store in the Village Shopping Center reported they have video surveillance of two female subject taking seven pairs of sunglasses. Total loss is $2,000. There is further investigation pending. 

Loss Prevention Officers at Nordstrom, in the Village Shopping Center, reported they have a subject in custody for theft of clothing. A Larkspur woman

was arrested and booked at the Marin County Jail on charges of Grand Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The loss was $1,456.

A bartender for one of the Golden Gate Ferry boats reported the theft of approximately $9,000 in bar receipts and cash from his unlocked vehicle in the Ferry Terminal parking lot.

A Security Officer for the Corte Madera Town Center reported an unresponsive subject near il Fornaio restaurant. A 37 year old homeless man was booked at the Marin County Jail for being intoxicated in a public place after he was medically cleared at the Marin General Hospital Emergency Room.

A caller reported a subject lying in the bushes in the area of the 40 block of Tamal Vista Blvd. A 52 year old homeless man was located. He was arrested for Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia and Violation of Probation and released on a citation at the scene.

 A San Anselmo resident reported the theft of his charcoal black Trek Madrone 20 speed custom bicycle, valued at $2,000, from the area of the Twenty-Four Hour Fitness in the Marin Country Mart shopping center. The bicycle had been locked to another and the lock was cut.

After being contacted pursuant to a traffic stop, a Greenbrae man was arrested for an outstanding Marin County Warrant. He was booked at the Marin County Jail.

During this one week time period, Twin Cities Police had 375 calls for service. This included one accident with minor injuries, four hit and run accidents and five property damage only accidents. There were three residential burglaries. There were four calls related to Driving while Intoxicated, resulting in two arrests.
