Two Sent To Hospital In Crash

Traffic on southbound Highway 101 and surface streets is at a standstill while the accident on the Paradise Drive overpass is cleaned up.

Three cars were involved in a rear-end crash on the Paradise Drive overpass is Corte Madera around 2 p.m. Wednesday, sending two people to Marin General Hospital with undiscolsed injuries.

Traffic was backed up on southbound Highway 101 to the Greenbrae exit. People looking for a way around the highway traffic became entagled in stop-and-go traffic on surface streets. The Corte Madera Town Center parking lot was packed with people looking for a place to sit out the worst of it and maybe do a little extra holiday shopping.

The accident was cleared around 3 p.m.
