Woman Battles Corte Madera Bicycle Thieves

Two suspects were grabbing several bicycles from a rack on San Clemente Drive when a woman tries to stop them from stealing her daughter's bike.

One mother put her own safety on the line when she tried to grab her daughter's bicycle from thieves in Corte Madera on Wednesday evening.

A woman saw two suspects cutting the locks off several bikes on San Clemente Drive, according to a report from the Central Marin Police. They were described as caucasian male adults, dressed in orange shirts, jeans and boots.

When she saw them taking her daughter's bike, the woman rushed to grab it from one of the suspects, but was pushed to the ground after a tussle. The suspects put the bikes in a newer green pickup truck and drove away.
