Woman's $3,000 Hearing Aid, $5,000 Gold Chain Stolen from ER at Marin General

Woman's daughter said she checked with hospital staff and the items had not been turned in, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.





A patient in the emergency room at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae reported to the Marin County Sheriff's Office that two pricey items were stolen from her at the hospital on Tuesday.

The incident was reported at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday. The two items that were reported stolen were:

  • A hearing aid valued at $2,995 and
  • A gold chain valued at between $3,000 and $5,000.
The patient's daughter told a deputy that she checked with ER staff at the hospital and the items had not been turned in as lost.
