City Council To Discuss SMART Station Plan

Scoping session for EIR will begin on January 22, 2013.

The Larkspur City Council will hear a report tonight on the progress in planning for the area surrounding the proposed SMART station and might give direction to staff regarding the preferred alternative that was adopted by the Station Area Plan Citizens Advisory Committee on November 15.

The plan would add up to:

  • 39,500 sq. ft. of office space
  • 179,000 sq. ft. of hotel
  • 394,500 sq. ft. of retail and cinema
  • 320 new housing units

The preferred alternative was adopted after numerous meetings and two public workshops.
