City Gets Back To Work In 2012

Larkspur's City Council, including its two newest members, meets tonight to go over business items.

New Mayor Len Rifkind presides over the first Larkspur City Council meeting of 2012 on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. as the City eases back into the routine after a holiday vacation.

New council members Brad Marsh and Ann Morrison will take their seats alongside Vice-Mayor Dan Hillmer and former Mayor Larry Chu.

Twin Cities Police Chief Todd Cusimano will present a report on the new Doherty Drive police headquarters. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for Saturday, Jan. 21, to open the new facility.

Other items include a report from the city's representative to the Central Marin Sanitation Agency and a hearing to allow 144 square feet of additions to the property at 135 C King Street.
