Corte Madera Back To Business

The Town Council meets for the first time since July 3 with a full agenda that includes an update on the San Clemente School plans, along with a series of proposed resolutions.

Summer break is over at Corte Madera Town Hall.

Larkspur Corte Madera School District Superintendent Valerie Pitts will update the Town Council during Tuesday's meeting at 6 p.m. on the planning and design of the new San Clemente School site. The school district raised $26 million through bond sales, but still faces a shortfall of $5 million during the construction and modernization phase, according to the district's website.

Tuesday's Town Council agenda also includes a proposal to maintain the standards of the Brown Act, despite the State's move to suspend certain elements of the legislation for a three-year period.
