Council Preview: Council to Approve Rose Garden Community Master Plan

Larkspur City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Larkspur City Council plans to approve the Rose Garden Community facilities parcel master plan during Wednesday's meeting, April 17. 

Councilmembers will hear the plan and consider approving it, according to city documents.

The Rose Garden Project, located on the 16.8-acre former Niven Nursery site, will house 85 residential units, "a 2.43-acre community facility site, multi-use paths, landscaped areas, open space areas and creek setback and buffer areas," Patch reported. It will also include a library.

Also on the agenda, councilmembers will consider approving an additional $15,000 for Larkspur City Hall improvements. 

"Additional funds are required to cover costs of environmental remediation for Asbestos found in the glue of the tape joints of the existing sheetrock, unforeseen electrical remediation and purchase of blinds and ergonomic furniture for staff work areas," according to city documents.
