Councils Appoint Members to Greenbrae Corridor Project Group

Larkspur City Council and Corte Madera Town Council each appointed two members to sit on the group.

Larkspur and Corte Madera will be represented in a Highway 101 Greenbrae Corridor project group. 

Earlier this week, both the Larkspur City Council and Corte Madera Town Council appointed two members each to sit on the group. 

Representing Larkspur will be Mayor Dan Hillmer and Councilman Brad Marsh, the Marin Independent Journal reports. Corte Madera Mayor Diane Furst and Councilwoman Carla Condon will represent Corte Madera; Councilman Bob Ravasio was appointed the alternate member.

The Transportation Authority of Marin, or TAM, group will have elected officials from Larkspur, Corte Madera, San Rafael, San Anselmo and the Marin County Board of Supervisors. 

TAM and Caltrans have proposed a $143-million project that would create elevated freeway segments and remove a pedestrian overcrossing along the Larkspur and Corte Madera stretch of Highway 101.
