Larkspur's Lights May Get Synchronized

Nearly $40,000 in grant money will be used to coordinate traffic signals along Sir Francis Drake in an effort to improve fuel economy and safety.

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission has approved nearly $40,000 in grant money for a project that would coordinate traffic signals along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

The County of Marin, City of Larkspur and Caltrans will receive a total of $39,800 for the Program for Arterial System Synchronization, which would coordinate signals between Larkspur Landing Circle and Elm Avenue.
