Opening on Library Board

One appointed Wednesday, one vacancy remains.

Noel Shumway is the latest addition to the Larkspur Library Board, appointed by the Larkspur City Council at its June 15 session.

Shumway, previously a finalist among board hopefuls, fills one of two vacant seats on the panel.

The Larkspur Women’s Improvement Club, spearheaded by Belle C. Brown, founded the Library in 1913. The library's collection size is approximately 51,000.
