Larkspur Library Board to look at the Rose Garden development plans at tonight's meeting. The board is also looking for applicants to fill openings.

There are changes abound at the Larkspur Library this month.

Two of the Larkspur Library Board members have reportedly decided not to run for another term. The City is recruiting applicants to file for board positions.

"The time commitment is pretty much just one meeting a month," according to Larkspur City Manager Dan Schwarz.

The Library Board meets the second Monday of every month. Tonight's agenda includes an update on the Rose Garden Parcel development. A portion of the former Niven Nursery property on Doherty Drive was given by owners, the New Home Company, to the City of Larkspur. Residents voted to dedicate part of that parcel to a new library building.

An important note, the library will be closed Memorial Day Weekend through Monday, May 27.
