MMWD: The Marin Municipal Water District Board of Directors is looking for ways to fund watershed projects. The board will meet Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., to consider a grant to revitalize Deer Park. The board will meet at 220 Nellen Ave. in Corte Madera.

Farmers Market: Buy fresh produce from vendors at Corte Madera Town Center, noon-5 p.m. Here's a tip, there are some good last-minute deals to be made toward the end of the day.

Get Ready: You never know when mayhem might hit, so it's good to invoke the Boy Scouts motto "Always be prepared." Larkspur firefighters will lead the "Get Ready Larkspur" disaster preparedness class Thursday at 7 p.m. The class is free. The next class will be held December 15.

eBooks Petting Zoo: The Corte Madera Library is keeping up with the times by adding eBooks to its collection. Staff will hold a free workshop Thursday at 10 a.m. to introduce readers into the world of eBooks.
