COM Holding 'Night' Auditions

College of Marin drama department sends out a casting call to local actors for a production of 'Arabian Nights.'

The College of Marin Drama Department will hold auditions for Mary Zimmerman’s Arabian Nights, directed by Molly Noble on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. in Portable Village Room #4 on the Kentfield Campus.

Call backs will be Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m., also in Portable Village Room 4. The Portable Village is located by the COM Gym just off College Avenue across the street from the Woodlands Market and Gas Station.

Those auditioning should be prepared to tell a story and/or present a monologue. The total audition time should not exceed two minutes.

Rehearsals begin Monday, Aug. 15.

This is a non-equity production. There is no pay and class registration is required. Please call the drama office at 415-485-9555 to schedule an audition appointment, or for further information.

Performance dates are September 29, (Pay What You Will Preview), 30, October 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. and October 9 and 16 at 2 p.m.

During renovation of the Performing Arts Theatre, Arabian Nights will be performed in a large tent on the central lawn of the Kentfield Campus.
