THE COVE SCHOOL OPEN ENROLLMENT

Dear Larkspur-Corte Madera Community,

Welcome to 2014! This promises to be an exciting year for our school district. Thank you for all you do in partnership with the schools to ensure excellence for our students!

The LCMSD is currently accepting intradistrict requests for attendance at The Cove School in fall 2014. We need approximately 125 students from the west side of Corte Madera and Larkspur to opt in to The Cove School. Requests can be submitted to school offices or the district office through February 7.  For intradistrict application information, please click here(http://lcmschools.org/Page/1153).

Check out what's coming to The Cove!  The Cove School will open with approximately 325 students. You can learn more about the guiding principles and signature practices by visiting the resources channel on The Cove School website(http://www.lcmschools.org/thecoveschool). The focus will be on project-based learning through inquiry, the arts, and technology with an emphasis on developing critical and creative thinkers and communicators. The entire learning community--parents, students, staff--will embrace these concepts and create a dynamic, engaging and culturally responsive school climate.

Principal Walker is offering coffee chats and open meeting times (see The Cove School calendar for specific dates and locations).  Join the movement!  Be a part of this amazing and unique opportunity to develop Marin County's first new school in over 20 years!
