Aging Awake! with Anna Douglas at Spirit Rock Meditation Center

Many of the experiences of aging open us to the perennial wisdom of the Buddhist teachings. The brilliant practices of awareness and compassion lead us to find this wisdom in ourselves.

In this five week class series, we will explore what are known as "The Three Marks of Existence" - dukkha (suffering), anicca (impermanence), and anatta (not self). These are considered doorways of insight.

Anna Douglas, PhD, is a founding teacher of Spirit Rock, through which she teaches retreats and classes. She also leads retreats nationwide. She has a background in psychology and the arts and, in addition to 25 years of vipassana practice, has studied with teachers in the Zen, Advaita and Dzogchen traditions.

Cost $25 - $50 sliding scale, plus a donation to the teacher. Code AD2C12. Seniors (65+ with limited and fixed income) are invited to attend this class series for $25.
