The BLUEMiND Symposium hosted by Turtle Island Restoration Network begins with engaging conservation science seminars, features an exclusive Premier Reception, and concludes with an evening of transformative BLUEMiND discussions and action.

Amazing images of remote ocean oases from around the world and internal brain scans are intertwined in Dr. Nichol's BLUEMiND presentation, a celebration of the emergence of neuroscience as a tool as it relates to the ocean biosphere. Your brain will never be the same!

The Premier Reception begins at 6:00 pm offers exclusive access to Ocean Luminaries and delicious refreshments before the focal BLUEMiND presentation. Or, choose to join during general admission at 7:00 pm where a silent auction and education displays form the Ocean Action Zone until 10:00 pm.

BLUEMiND Symposium Event Schedule

10:00am - 4:00pm: BLUEMiND Symposium connects students and the public with local scientists leading research and conservation projects. Hear from Dr. Chris Pincetich, David McGuire M.P.H, and many more ($20, FREE with student I.D.).

6:00pm - 7:00pm: BLUEMiND Premier Reception with exclusive access to Ocean Luminaries and delicious refreshments ($75).

7:00pm - 10:00pm: BLUEMiND General Admission, no-host bar, refreshments, and silent auction in the transformative Ocean Action Zone ($35).

From Highway 101 north or south take the Tiburon/East Blithedale exit. Go east onto Tiburon Boulevard 1.7 miles to Trestle Glen Blvd, turn left onto Trestle Glen. Continue 0.6 miles to Paradise Dr., turn right turn onto Paradise Drive. Continue 2.9 miles to the Bay Conference Center entrance at 3152 Paradise Drive.
