CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and What Homeowners Can Do To Prepare for Disaster

This potluck luncheon and program is presented by the Corte Madera Women's Club, and is free -- just bring a dish to share. If you are new to the Twin Cities, this is a great way to meet some neighbors in an informal and friendly setting, and learn something about our community at the same time.

Come hear four of our members speak about:

  • How homeowners can make their own preparations.
  • What resources and systems Corte Madera & Larkspur have in place for responding to a natural disaster.
  • How organizations such as CERT and the Mariner Cove Neighborhood Association help residents to be prepared to help themselves and their neighbors in an emergency. Speakers:  Ann Shores, Suzi Beatie, Phyllis Galanis, Kathy Hartzell

Bring a dish to share.  Beverages, plates & utensils will be provided.

*Note that, due to ongoing construction at the CM Rec Center, this meeting will be at the Larkspur Community Room (240 Doherty Drive, Larkspur) -- next to the back door of the Hall Middle School gym, behind the School District office. Due to the police station construction, parking may be difficult. Consider carpooling with friends, or walk or bike. If you do drive, please park in the PIPER PARK lot, not the school lot.
