Master Gardener Janet Duncan is an expert at combining all the elements of a balanced garden to welcome in beneficial creatures.  As gardeners, whether with edibles or ornamentals, it is essential that we know what beneficial creatures are, how we can attract them, and what they need to flourish.  Did you know bees need stones or somewhere to perch, for example, in a water feature since they can’t hover and drink?  Janet’s talk will be immensely helpful if you plan on putting in a beneficial garden or simply want to improve your existent garden to make it more welcoming.  The talk will include a tour of the new Beneficial habitat Garden, which features habitat plants as well as illustrating important physical elements that you can use in your own garden.
