Creating 2011 as Your Best Year Ever! New Year's Visioning, Treasure-Mapping and Potluck

Come join our community for some collective visioning and celebration of our New Year, 2011!! During our time together, we will get clear about what we we've harvested from 2010 and what might still be incomplete. We'll identify behaviors, attitudes, limiting beliefs we wish to let go of (such as poor habits, unresolved relationships, financial insecurity) and will explore what we are needing in order to let go of those limits. Then, we will then dispose of our attachment to these aspects of ourselves in a ritual that is both powerful and fun.

Next, it will be time to share a delicious, healthful potluck supper, even as we continue getting to know each other better as we eat. Sharing dinner is an opportunity for creating even deeper connections that could support each of us in achieving our goals for 2011. Following dinner we will identify what we want to affirm for this next year by designing personal Treasure Maps (collaged cut-out magazine pictures, personal photos, etc.), which are creative representations of where we want to go in 2011 and how we imagine and sense we will get there.

We will pray, visualize and meditate on our goals. Finally, we will share our Maps with each other and speak a little more about what we want to create for this new year. We will have the opportunity to gather support for each other in the process — at the event and in the coming weeks, both.

Enjoy camaraderie, mutual support, good food, creative visualizing and Mapping, and plenty of singing and dancing. Please bring a towel if you wish to use our hot tub or heated indoor pool(swimsuit optional). Please, only metal (preferred) or plastic water bottles by the tub.

Bring:

• a healthful potluck dish,
• towel for the hot tub and pool
• any personal snacks you may want,
• any favorite magazines and personal photographs that will help you create your Treasure Map.
