Larkspur Heritage Tree Tour

Join your friends and neighbors on this free tour of Larkspur's heritage trees, led by tree expert Katherine Jones and sponsored by the Larkspur Heritage Preservation Board.

From the giant redwoods of Baltimore Canyon, to the landmark magnolia on Magnolia Avenue, to the row of Mexican fan palms lining Baltimore Avenue, trees have long defined the character and history of Larkspur. More than 100 species of trees can be found in Larkspur’s neighborhoods, and Baltimore Park, where almost 40 species of noteworthy trees are thriving, is an ideal location to make their acquaintance on a casual walking tour Saturday, March 24, starting at 10 a.m.

To join the tour, meet at the landmark oak tree that stands in the center of West Baltimore Avenue at its intersection with Magnolia Avenue.  Ample parking is available on West Baltimore. The walk will be cancelled in event of rain.
