Redwood, MC Collide On The Court Tonight

Around Town Feb. 16-17: The MCAL basketball playoffs take the excitement up a notch with the Giants and Wildcats squaring off in the girls semifinals.

 

• The Marin Catholic girls basketball team ripped through the competition undefeated during the Marin County Athletic League season. Now the Redwood Giants stand in the Wildcats' way in tonight's MCAL semifinals at 5:30 p.m. at Redwood High School.

The Redwood boys follow at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, against Drake. The boys semifinals continue Friday, Feb. 17, with Marin Catholic taking on rival Branson at 7:30 p.m. at Redwood High School.

The Lark Theater presents a rare broadcast tour of the UK's National Gallery landmark exhibition “Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan," captured live and broadcast on a delayed basis to movie screens around the world. The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. This never-before-seen exhibition brings together the largest number of Leonardo’s rare surviving paintings ever assembled in one collection. Tickets are $10. This event is virtually sold out. A few tickets will go on sale at 6:30 p.m.
