Livingston, Bole Wear Multiple MCAL Swim Crowns

Madison Livingston leads the Redwood girls to the league championship with two individual wins, while Scott Bole touches first in three events — including a relay — at the annual finals.

Madison Livingston and Sandy Bole made themselves right at home Saturday during the Marin County Athletic League Swimming and Diving Championships at the Redwood High pool.

Livingston won two events and swam legs on second- and third-place relay teams in helping propel the Giants to the girls’ championship with 394 points.

Bole duplicated Livingston’s individual feat with two wins and also added a team win in the 400-yard free relay, helping Redwood take third place in a very close boys race that was won by Tam.

Livingston earned championships in the 200 individual medley (2:07.10) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.75). She also teamed with Ariana Traub, Mary Simcock and Armani Roots to place second in the 200 freestyle relay (1:43.17), and with Simcock, Kenza Salem and Traub to take third in the 400 free relay (3:43.17).

Roots also had a hand in Redwood’s second-place effort in the 200 medley relay, teaming with Mary Hall, Emily Josef and Kimmy Pelfini to clock a 1:55.37.

Traub and Josef also had individual success, each taking a third place — Traub in the 200 free (2:01.09) and Josef in the 100 breast (1:08.53).

Raichel Perper added a third-place finish in the one-yard diving with 387.55 points.

Bole won the MCAL title in the 200 IM (1:53.07) and 100 free (45.96). He also anchored the 400 free relay team to first place, following Richard Davison, Scott Bole and Allan Jabri to finish in 3:14.44.

The 200 medley relay team of Jabri, Ian Jaime, Davison and Sandy Bole took third in a time of 1:39.31.

Scott Bole and Davison also had a pair of top-three individual performance each. Bole placed third in the 200 IM (2:03.88) and second in the 500 free (4:53.95), while Davison had a second in the 200 free (1:43.17) and a third in the 100 butterfly (51.21).
