A strong first quarter by the visiting Bulls was negated by a staunch defensive effort by the Giants, who held Branson to just eight points in the second quarter in taking a 27-25 lead into the half.

Redwood gave up only 10 points in the third quarter, to seize command of the game and was never seriously threatened again by the 1-5 Bulls.
