• Heather Donahue visits Book Passage in Corte Madera to discuss Growgirl: How My Life After the Blair Witch Project Went to Pot. The star of the cult-film The Blair Witch Project started a new life with her new boyfriend — growing pot.

• In case you haven't seen it yet, seriously, don't miss the Matt Damon family flick We Bought A Zoo. It deftly dances between the extremes of sweetness and depression for a touching story, based on true events. The film is playing through Thursday at the Lark Theater.

• Redwood High School hosts Justin-Siena in a basketball doubleheader with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

• Marin Catholic's boys basketball team tries to rebound from Tuesday's loss to Branson. The Wildcats host Novato at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The girls tip off at 6 p.m.
