Marin Catholic's Latest Student-Athlete Standouts

The Marin Catholic community recognizes its recent student-athlete standouts.

Lately, the Marin Catholic community has had much to be proud of. As basketball season came to a close, Marin County Athletic League coaches got together and voted on all-leaguers.

Emily Easom and David Ahern, both Marin Catholic seniors, were named MCAL players of the year for the men's and women's teams. Also, the men's side saw two other student-athletes, Patrick Conroy and Logan Stone make all-league. The girls had three student-athletes: Neika Peterson, Joanne Zeidan and Claire Renk.

With the girls winning the MCAL post season championship for the second year in a row and the boys making a run in NCS, Marin Catholic is very proud of its basketball teams!

Marin Catholic also recognizes the Spring sports sucesses thus far. The women's soccer team is yet to be defeated with seven victories and one tie (all seven being shutouts).

The starting returners this year are Ryan Farney (OF), Jared Goff (SS), Andrew Celis (TB), and Chris Tewhill (OF). MC also sees Logan Stone and Joe redmond step up to pitch. The Wildcats are the defending MCAL and NCS champions.

Women's and mens lacrosse have also jump started into action with senior leaders Casey Jereb, Megan McCullough, Mara Loberg, Jake Newman and Tommy Rooney.

Marin Catholic has much to look forward to this spring sport season, and the community is proud of and recognizes its stellar, stand out student-athletes.
