What To Do With A 4th of July On A Wednesday?

The Fourth of July may be a weeklong celebration for some folks, but for many of us, it'll be one day off sandwiched by the usual days at the office the rest of the week.

What are your plans? Will you get to relax all week, sneak in a couple days off on either end of the holiday, or work straight through the week?

Wednesday's going to be a busy day:

• The Corte Madera-Larkspur 4th of July Parade
• Fireworks and the Temptations at the Marin County Fair
• Locals (including Larkspur's own Danny Valadez) drag racing at Race Sonoma; and more.

It sounds like a week's worth of celebrating, so go ahead, take time to relax with the family. That's what summer vacations are for, isn't it?
