Free Family Rodeo this Saturday, October 20th 10 am

Free Family Bicycle Rodeo this Saturday October 20 at 10 am

Families are invited to come to a free family rodeo this Saturday, October 20, at 10 am at the Larkspur Recreation Department 240 Doherty Drive in Larkspur.

The Marin County Bicycle Coalition, through a grant from the Metropolitan
Transportation Commission, is offering a series of four free workshops on

family bicycling.  This Saturday’s rodeo is the second in the series of free training for parents and their children to learn safe bicycle riding skills.  Topics
covered will include rules of the road on-the-bike skills, and more advanced
road skills.  The series will culminate with a fun family bike ride.

This series of two-hour workshops will teach your family how to safely navigate
streets with proper equipment and behavior.

The workshops can be taken individually or as a series:

Oct. 20 Family Bike Rodeo - Practice riding off-street; recommended for beginners to proficient bicyclists

Oct 27 Riding as a Family - Learn and practice advanced skills; recommended for grades 3-5 or children capable of riding on the road with a parent.

Nov 3 Family Fun Ride - Enjoy a fun ride for the whole family

Advanced registration is required.  Click here to register.  For more information contact peggy@marinbike.org

Prop 37 would have exempted "organic" food from the labeling requirement. What sense doesRead More that make? (Answer: none.)
