The <strong>Center for Integrative Health &amp; Wellness&#39; </strong>(CIHW) mission is to optimize the health and wellness of our community by supporting and promoting healing of the mind, body and spirit.

CIHW embraces conventional medicine for the treatment of<br>many chronic and acute conditions, but also recognizes its constraints in dealing with the complex needs of the whole person.  Our vision for integrative health goes beyond<br>simply offering healing therapies; rather, we offer a holistic approach to health that focuses on the whole person, weaving integrative therapies into the patient&#39;s overall healing plan and involving them as an empowered partner in their health and wellness.

The CIHW services focus on prevention and wellness,<br>activation of the body&#39;s innate healing capacity, augmentation of conventional medicine during illness and injury, and development of self-care skills.

The CIHW is a department of Marin General Hospital.
