Tom’s extensive knowledge of the market place, his understanding of the buying and selling process, and connections with contractors and other vendors makes him an invaluable resource, thus the tag: ‘Real estate for a good night’s sleep.’.

One of only sixteen brokers to receive the prestigious Frank Howard Allen <strong>Founder’s Award </strong>as well as a recipient of the <strong>Chairman’s Circle of Excellence</strong>, Tom has chaired FHA’s Advisory Council and was one of the first agents on the west coast to be designated a Certified Distressed Property Expert (<strong>CDPE</strong>) for his work with short sales and REOs. Tom was also one of the first agents to become a Senior Real Estate Specialist (<strong>SRES</strong>).  A Graduate of the Realtor Institute (<strong>GRI</strong>) Tom wrote the .real estate column for the <strong><i>Marin Independent Journal</i> </strong>from 1984 – 1996 and created <strong>Dancing Coyote Beach</strong>, a bed and breakfast in Inverness, and <strong>The Poet’s Loft </strong>in Marshall.
