Add Your Historic Photos Of Larkspur

We're still celebrating the history of the Twin Cities communities, so share your photos here.

Dale Eubanks, a Larkspur Fire Department volunteer since 1958, is seen in the cab of the 1916 Model T Fire Truck at the Larkspur Fire Department during the Downtown Historic Wine Tour on July 21. The Model T was the Larkspur Fire Department's first motorized fire engine. The antique fire engine was recently fully restored by the Volunteer Fire Association members, overseen by volunteers Jamie Byrnes and Jeff Heath.

A banner announces the upcoming Larkspur Rose Bowl Dance on Sept. 8, marking the 100th anniversary of the Larkspur Association of Volunteer Firefighters. Larkspur's Downtown Fire Station, constructed in 1939, was funded entirely by receipts from the summertime Larkspur Volunteer Rose Bowl Dances which ran from the early 1930's to the late 1950's.
