Larkspur's Getting Another Restaurant

If you haven't heard of Farmshop, the signs at Marin Country Mart could be a little confusing. You might be more familiar with Jeff Cerciello, the chef and owner of Farmshop.

Marin Country Mart owner James Rosenfield is bringing Cerciello's latest restaurant to Larkspur in the Fall. Farmshop started in Southern California at Brentwood Country Mart, also owned by Rosenfield.

"We're as pleased as could be to have Jeff Cerciello at the Marin Country Mart. It has been a pleasure watching him transform Farmshop in Brentwood Country Mart into a bustling neighborhood restaurant,” Rosenfield said. “Jeff is among the best chefs in the country with a history of acclaimed openings and we are fortunate to have him bring Farmshop to Marin.”

Cerciello, who trained in Northern California with famed chef Thomas Keller, focuses on farm fresh and local ingredients in his kitchen. Yelp reviews of Farmshop in Brentwood suggest the avocado hummus, beets and vegetable dishes.
