Readers' Choice: Care To Spill The Refried Beans?

Vote in our poll and let everyone know who has 'The Best Mexican Food In The Twin Cities?'

Te sientes hambriento?

If you're feeling hungry for Mexican food, there are plenty of places to get a chicken burrito, or a taco, or some amazing salsa. Have a favorite? Vote in this week's Larkspur-Corte Madera Patch poll as we ask you who has the Best Mexican food in the Twin Cities area?

The cuisine scene in the Twin Cities area is expanding rapidly and one of the newest choices is El Huarache Loco, which is scheduled to have its grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, beginning at 6 p.m.

Owner Veronica Salazar moved El Huarache Loco from a tent at the Marin Country Mart farmers market to its current brick and mortar location behind Starbucks. Good Mexican food can also be easy to find at the Corte Madera farmers market every Wednesday at the Town Center and in the food trucks around town. Just drop by Marin Country Mart any Sunday to check out the Off The Grid food trucks.

Of course, if you ask any second-year College of Marin student where to get some good Mexican food and they'll point you to the corner of Drake and College Avenue, where you'll find Taqueria Mexican Grill, which has been around for decades.

Well, here's your chance to vote for your favorite Mexican restaurant. If you think we missed your favorite, let us know as soon as possible so we can include it in the voting.

Voting comes in a variety of forms: you can vote in the poll below, but the poll is not scientific and is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. You also weigh in by writing in the Comments section below and by rating and reviewing the facilities on their Larkspur-Corte Madera Patch Places pages. Comments are bonus points in the final decision.

The poll is open through 9 a.m. Friday. The winner will be revealed Friday afternoon.

Thanks for voting.
