Marin Catholic looked poised to complete an undefeated season and claim a section championship, but victory slipped through the Wildcats' grasp Saturday.
Campolindo High School scored a 21-yard field goal with less than a minute to play to edge out Marin Catholic 20-18 in the North Coast Section Division III championship at the Oakland Coliseum.

FOURTH QUARTER
Campolindo High School took a quick lead over top seed Marin Catholic on Saturday night in the North Coast Section Division III championship game, a showdown between two undefeated teams.
The Wildcats attempted to mount a fourth-quarter rally. Campolindo leads 17-15 with 7 minutes left to play, but the Wildcats are marching into Cougars territory.
Jared Goff completed a 54-yard pass to Ryan Farney and the Wildcats closed the gap to 17-15 as the third quarter came to a close.
The Wildcats got on the board with a safety in the first quarter and Andrew Cellis scored on a 98-yard kick return in the second quarter. The first half ended with the Cougars leading 14-9.
