Tired and hungry after a long day at work in San Francisco? Find salvation as you step off the boat at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal with food trucks offering a selection of treats, including Sift Cupcakes, Suzie Q's Lunchbox, Rib Whip and many more!

The gourmet food trucks operate year-round at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal five days a week, from 4-8 p.m. See the rotating schedule of trucks at: http://goldengateferry.org/events/ferryfooddays.php

• Origami Art: Children between the ages of 8 and older are invited to gather in the children’s room of the Corte Madera Library, for the finale in a series of five origami classes given by Kiyoshi Okada at the Corte Madera Library on Thursday at 2 p.m.

• Rockin' TGIF: Get the weekend started with Dan Martin and the Norma Rocksteady Band on Friday at 5 p.m. The free concert is part of Marin Country Mart's weekly Friday Night Music Series.

• Get Started Writing: Opening up about yourself can be a daunting effort — and putting your life on paper can be even more challenging. It can also be a very rewarding experience. Laura Deutsch will lead a three-week class at Book Passage in Corte Madera to help beginning writers star their memoirs. The first class is Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The class includes instruction, in-class writing and feedback. The fee is $120 for three sessions.

• Protecting The Creek: The Friends of Corte Madera Creek Watershed have scheduled the monthly Board meeting for Thursday, 7 p.m., in the San Anselmo Historical Society Room, 110 Tunstead Ave,, San Anselmo.
